Walk and Talk: City with a Soul is a new event which is being pioneered by South Tuggeranong priest Fr. John Armstrong who has a simple aim; he wants to get 250,000 people across the globe to walk and talk together for one hour on 15 May between 2-3pm. Wherever you are you in the world you can walk with one other person.

Why would I want to walk?
Do you feel so overwhelmed by bad news and that it is just getting worse. Things can be different. By sharing conversations about what truly matters to us we can become people who take action, build connections, strengthen our community and make a world of difference, step by step!

What will I achieve by walking?

The initiative, which he devised, to help “create a world of hope” is not a fund-raiser. It is simply an opportunity for people to take time out to walk and share an aspect of their life with another person.

What will I need to do?
Each pair is asked to come up with one concrete action that they will carry out to make a difference in the life of another person to create a better world
